	I don't grow them, but I do enjoy photographing them.  And I do have such beautiful subjects to choose from.  I can just drop in on the Crochet's Garden, or Lee Gates' Hobby Garden, or Hanson's Hybrids almost any time I wish.

		RICHFIELD GRANDEUR by Clarence Crochet '97 Introduction, SEv 22" EM Re 6 1/2" This large yellow has pink highlights. Segments are very wide, making for a full form. Throat color is green and bud count is sixteen.  Very beautiful. Photo taken 5/25/98 in Crochet's Daylily Garden by Tom Walker

	JOLIE MONDE by Clarence Crochet '97 Their only 1999 introduction. A 7 1/2" pink blend.  Petals measure 3 1/4" wide while sepals are 2 1/4" wide.  Blooms are flat to recurved, depending on night temperatures.   A large green throat radiates out onto the petals.  This beautiful and imposing giant is semievergreen and reblooms well.  Scapes average 21" high and display twelve buds.  It was awarded a Junior Citation in 1998. 		KING KAHUNA by Clarence Crochet '94 SEv 22" EM Re 6 1/2" Wide, consistently double medium yellow diploid with three huge petaloids.  A bud builder which has over 30 buds when established, often displaying several open blooms at the same time.
