Have you seen this before? Have you ever wondered how to become a mason? Have you ever wondered why your friend didn't ask you to join his Masonic Lodge? It's really very simple. No Mason can ever be first to invite anyone to become a Mason. You MUST first ask a Mason a question that indicates that you are interested in joining him in Masonry. You mustn't be timid in asking, don't leave any doubt in the mind of the Mason, why you are asking. Then he will lead you to the path to becoming a Mason, and guide you along the way.   So, what does it take to become a Mason? We do have our standards, and not everyone will qualify. 1. _You must believe in the existence of one supreme and everlasting God. Freemasonry is not a religion, but we do expect you to be active in the religion of your choice. Atheist need not apply. 2. _You must desire to be a Mason, seeking no financial gain from your membership. 3. _You must desire to be of service to your fellow creatures. 4. _You must agree to comply with all the ancient usage's and established customs of the Fraternity. 5. _You must be honest and of the highest character.
